WHEEL și THE PRICE, două dintre revelațiile scenei metal europene în ultimul an, ajung în premieră în România la Festivalului Posada Rock, care se va desfășura pe Stadionul Municipal din Câmpulung Muscel, în perioada 30 august – 1 septembrie 2019.
Wheel vine din Finlanda, unde fondatorul trupei, britanicul James Lascelles, a emigrat pentru a urma o carieră muzicală. După ce a atras atenția criticii muzicale și iubitorilor de progressive metal cu EP-ul ”The Path that Divides”, WHEEL a lansat anul acesta albumul de debut, ”Moving Backwards”, cu care a intrat imediat în topurile de specialitate. Mai mult, trupa este nominalizată la prestigioasele premii Progressive Music Awards, la categoria Limelight, dedicată newcomerilor. Cu un sound modern, tehnic, dar plin de feeling, WHEEL e cu siguranță un nume de urmărit pe scena Festivalului Posada Rock.
The Price este proiectul de suflet al producătorului, inginerului de sunet și chitaristului italina Marco Barusso. După ce a lucrat cu trupe precum Lacuna Coil, HIM, 30 Seconds to Mars sau Coldplay, Marco Barusso, anul acesta Marco Barusso a lansat proiectul THE PRICE și albumul ”A Second Chance to Rise”, pentru care a colaborat cu muzicieni reputați ai scenei metal italiene. Stilul abordat este un amestec inedit de dark alternative cu infuențe de metal scandinav și new wave optzecist, totul fiind închegat de melodicitate.
WHEEL și THE PRICE vor urca pe scena Festivalului Posada Rock în seara de 30 august și se alătură line-up-ului internațional al ediției din acest an, format deja din Tiamat, Moonspell, Soen și Diamond Head. Încă o formație în recital va fi anunțată pe parcursul zilelor viitoare. Lor li se vor adăuga cei 10 newcomeri care vor participa la concursul care pune la bătaie premii consistente.

WHEEL and THE PRICE at Posada Rock 2019!
WHEEL and THE PRICE, two of this year’s European metal scene’s revelations, will arrive for the first time in Romania at the Posada Rock Festival, which will take place on the Câmpulung Muscel Municipal Stadium between August 30th and September 1st 2019.
WHEEL comes from Finland, where the founder of the band, the British guitarist and vocalist James Lascelles, moved to in order to pursue a musical career. After catching the attention of the music critics and progressive metal fans with the EP "The Path that Divides", a couple of month ago WHEEL released its debut album, "Moving Backwards", which immediately entered the genre charts. Moreover, the band is nominated for the prestigious Progressive Music Awards in the Limelight category, dedicated to newcomers. With a modern sound, technical but filled with feeling, WHEEL is certainly a name to see live at the Posada Rock Festival.
THE PRICE is the solo project of the Italian producer, sound engineer and guitarist Marco Barusso. After working with bands such as Lacuna Coil, HIM, 30 Seconds to Mars or Coldplay, this year Marco Barusso launched the project THE PRICE and the album "Second Chance to Rise," for which he collaborated with renowned musicians of the Italian metal scene. The style of the band is an unmistakable blend of dark alternative with scandinavian metal influences and 80’s new wave, all strengthened by radio-friendly melodies.
WHEEL and THE PRICE will perform live on the stage at Posada Rock Festival on the evening of August 30th, joining the international line-up for this year's edition, alongside Tiamat, Moonspell, Soen and Diamond Head. Another band will be announced over the coming days. They will be joined by the 10 newcomers who will participate in the contest for consistent prizes.
